Where two sides of Naples meet

Some brands tell the story of the same city in different languages. On one side, our workshop, which for almost two centuries has carried on the tradition of the 18th-century presepe (Neapolitan nativity scene) and of handmade craft. On the other, the Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel, opened in April 2022 on Via Brecce a Sant'Erasmo by the Pugliese family in a restored former factory, and today a benchmark for contemporary hospitality in Naples.

Our collaboration, which began in 2024, grew out of this tension: two different ways of living the city, with roots in the same place.

The Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel and its identity

The Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel opened in April 2022 in the Gianturco district, an outlying area that until a few years earlier had been used only for industry. The Pugliese family, Neapolitan building contractors, chose not to build from scratch but to restore the existing factory, keeping its architectural character and turning it into a 4-star superior hotel with a spa of more than 1,000 square meters, a restaurant overlooking Vesuvius (Terrazza Ramè) and a clear focus: lifestyle, understood as a dialogue between hospitality, design and attention to detail.

The Gold Tower's guests are largely international: travelers who come to Naples looking for an experience that is not just a stay, but immersion. This is where our craft workshop came in: not to furnish the hotel, but to bring a piece of real Naples inside it.

What we brought to the Gold Tower

Inside the Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel we curated the display of works made by hand in our workshop: 18th-century Neapolitan nativity figures, objects from the Neapolitan tradition, details that condense materials, making processes and techniques handed down for generations. The nativity scene in the lobby, next to the Christmas tree, served as a visual anchor at the hotel entrance during the 2024 holiday season.

For the guests of the Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel, mostly international, it was not just about seeing a work on display: each piece was a chance to connect with the value of handmade work, with the choice of materials (hand-painted terracotta, hemp tow, fabrics) and with the slow pace of craftsmanship that endures in a city often perceived only through its chaos. The figures spoke for themselves, without captions, in a space already designed to welcome the eye.

Why this collab matters

A PIECE OF NAPLES, JUST FOR YOU.
